You've got to see this huge immaculate log cabin to believe it. The furnished cabin sits with a gorgeous elevated view of a prime area of Raccoon lake, a 2000+ acre lake in beautiful Parke County Indiana. The cabin includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths (4th bedroom is loft with both a regular queen bed and a pull out double bed), a large family room with bar, full sized fully equiped kitchen, living room, and huge attached deck facing the lake. It includes private stairs down to a private dock with room for 2 boats. There is simply no nicer place on the lake.

Activities:
Raccoon Lake is 8 miles from Rockville, Indiana, home of the annual mushroom festival at the beginning of May, and the covered bridge festival in October. Raccoon Lake state park, a 4000 acre park, ensures that a huge portion of the lake is un-built.

Spacious, well decorated, and everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The bedrooms were beautiful. Bathrooms had everything you needed, and was well stocked with towels, washcloths, and other extras. The owners go out of their way to assure your stay is pleasurable. We had 10 people as well as 2 day visitors, and we were not stepping over each other. Plenty of storage. Thank you for making our family get together a memorial time!

The cabin which is decorated so wonderfully was clean, comfortable and welcomed us as if it were our own. Our family needed a break for various reasons and enjoyed every aspect of this cabin. We didn't even mind constantly keeping up with the squirrels mess of walnut skins on the back deck ( they are preparing for the winter), they were cute and we were home! The owners made sure everything was perfect and made us feel very welcome and did not over-call or intrude, we now feel like family to this cabin and already miss our nightly fires we had outside in the fire pit, smores, uhmmmmm! The owners have a gem of a place and follow the framed reading that is on the wall leading to the downstairs finished basement, I cannot remember it all at the moment, but it did say something to the effect about coming to the cabin weary and finding rest, we did! Thank you so much Gary & family for the open sharing of your home.

Sep 01, 2008 - The Butlers "we had a great vacation! we went with another family and everyone loved it! we had a three year old and he could not get over having a huge lake so close. he loved fishing and we will definently be back. actually as we were leaving today were were taking about coming nack this spring! beautiful cabin with great furniture. too cold to go out on the lake for us but thats why we want to come back in the spring. we had a great weekend and we would highly reccomend it to anyone that asks!"
