This charming 1920’s style summer cottage is a must for anyone looking to get away from it all. Located on beautiful Joe’s Pond in West Danville Vermont the cottage has all of the modern conveniences and boosts amazing views and amenities. With the middle lake practically knocking on your back door you can enjoy boating, fishing, waterskiing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing and sailing. Two kayaks are provided for your pleasure or you can choose to rent one of the many boats available at our Marina. There is also a boat launch should you choose to bring your own boat (up to 26’ pontoon boat) or jet skies. Like bird watching? Make sure you bring your camera so you can capture photos of the amazing loons in their preserve. The shallow water surrounding the cottage is perfect for small children to enjoy in the warmer months.
Even though we know once you arrive you will never want to leave…there are many other activities in the area. Cabot Creamery is right around the corner or venture over to nearby St Johnsbury to enjoy the restaurants, museums and shops or catch a movie at the local theater. Burlington is just an hour away and offers beautiful boutique style shops and exquisite dining on the shores of Lake Champlain. With the Canadian border an hour north you may want to remember your passport and take a day trip. There are many wonderful places to hike including the Presidential Range or Mount Washington in nearby New Hampshire. Be sure to check out the Mount Washington Hotel while you are there and grab a bite to eat while you enjoy the amazing view with a little piece of history in this hotel visited by so many of our past presidents.
