This beautiful A Frame is available through out the year for $1,650 weekly or $285 per day with a 3 day minimum March-September and holidays.
Beautiful spacious retreat on a protected cove sitting on over an acre. Sleeps 18 in beds! The property is nestled in the national forest with miles of trails and access to other parts of the lake. You are steps away from great fishing and hunting. Challenge your kids to a game of horse shoes, washers, badminton, or ladders and then cool off in the lake. The house is fully equipped with Satellite TV and DVD player, dishes, kitchenware, gas grill, two refrigerator freezer combos, a washer and dryer. Inside dining seats 6 at the table and another 6 at the bar with seating for 20 outside on the deck. Bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, wash cloths, and hair dryers. Bedrooms 01, 02, & 03 each have queen beds and are downstairs. The loft bedroom (04) has a queen bed and is upstairs. The bunk room (05) is upstairs and has one king, one full and six twin beds. All beds have brand new mattresses and high quality bedding and the full, queens and king beds all have new super pillow top mattresses. They are so comfortable you won't want to get out of bed!! There is also a playpen.
The property has over 300' of shoreline. A two man kayak/canoe is available with life vests. A large deck overlooks the water and is equipped with a propane fueled fire pit perfect for roasting hot dogs and smores. It really is in the National Forest and 15 minutes away from the nearest town (6 miles down dirt roads). If you're looking for the nicest place on the lake, this is it!

We were able to pull our boat right up to the floating dock. The sleeping options are teriffic - plenty of room for everyone. Having so many items provided such as pack-n-plays, kitchen items, towels, barbecue pit, smores sticks, etc. makes packing to get there even easier. Lake Sam Rayburn is our favorite lake because of the water quality and peacefulness of the surroundings. The hammocks were a big hit. "

Sep 22, 2009 - Sharon Kraemer "This lakehouse was perfect for our family vacation! We brought a four wheeler, a boat and jet skis and had a very exciting week. We had four generations present (14 ppl) and made wonderful memories in this comfortable house! We loved using the double kayak provided by the owners--there were neat little coves to go exploring in. There was plenty of nice sleeping accommodations (the beds were great!), and we found everything we needed and more in the house. The kitchen was well supplied. There were games and sports equipment for outside. We loved the hammocks; the beautiful trees provided wonderful shade. The deck was really great for the young ones to play on; the picnic tables with umbrellas were so cool; we ate outside several times. We LOVED roasting our hot dogs and s'mores on the fire pit in the evenings! We caught lots of fish. We also appreciated all the poles, life jackets, etc that were there for our use. We would DEFINITELY recommend this rental property. We hope to return!"

And the three rooms on the ground floor had very comfortable beds, quite unlike many rental homes. The deck was wonderful and plenty of room for the three families to eat, play games, etc. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you would need for cooking. We had a wonderul weekend, and we look forward to our next visit!"
Sep 07, 2010 - Debbie Barr "Very comfortable and scenic. The A frame house sleeps a lot of people and the facilities (bathroom functions) held up under a lot of people, I was impressed! Anything you need is at your finger tips, we had a full kit hen available with all of the utensils and even spices! We were able to grill shish-ka-bobs (we brought the chicken and vegetables). on a propane grill on their back deck. The access to the beach made it very secluded, we were the only group there. We stayed during the weekend of Aug 13 and found the temperatures in the house to be very comfortable, and the foliage helps shade the property to make enjoying the back deck very easy. We did not sweat and were not eaten by mosquitos! If you like privacy and comfort, you will definitely like this place!"
