Looking for a fun and memorable lake vacation experience? Visit peaceful Lake Sinclair!
This 5 bedroom, nearly 4000 SF lake house, one of the largest offered for rental, is located 7 miles from historic downtown Milledgeville, GA on the secluded Little Rocky Creek area of the lake and experiences limited pleasure boat traffic. (no crowding) Fishing boats are common due to the awesome fishing on this part of the lake. Lake Sinclair is a controlled water release dam which keeps the water levels constant year round.
This home offers spacious gathering places along with private sleeping areas. This ranch on a basement layout boasts awesome lake views from all lake facing windows. The main level has a large, eat-in kitchen, main gathering area, additional seating and a very large Master Bedroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate large stone shower.
The lower level also has a large gathering area (which the kids and teens LOVE) along with 4 bedrooms. Two of the downstairs bedrooms open directly to the outside overlooking the lake. A third “ bunkhouse’ bedroom has 6 bunk beds that are a hit with the kids… and teens.
The home is sits on nearly an acre of gently sloping land. The large dock offer guests a 10 x 25’ covered slip with boatlift, 16 x 20 sun deck and beach. The dock is the perfect place to swim, fish, or just drift on the placid waters of Little Rocky Creek. This setting allows you to safely water ski or tube right from the dock on calm waters popular to the most experienced skiers. Rocky Creek is a great skiing location with a long straight run of protected waters for glass smooth surface. Also a great fishing location for large Crappie, Bass, and Channel Catfish.
Across the lake is a natural setting and home to an abundance of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see Great Blue herons, geese, ducks and deer. Keep your eyes peeled for the occasional sighting of Bald Eagles known to nest in the area! In the evening, the soft hoot of owls across the lake adds to the peaceful experience of Lake Sinclair.
Located only 10 minutes from Historic Milledgeville, the home is close to shopping, dining for all ages, Georgia College & State University, antiques, A historic cemetery and the old Governor’s Mansion.

"We stayed at this wonderful home in May 2008 and had a perfect experience!, from my initial contact with the owners until we reluctantly left the lakehouse to return to reality. The pictures don't do justice - it was really spacious, with lots of extras. We had a family reunion here, with 15 of us sleeping in the house and others staying/living nearby. With extended family, we had 56 here for a catered barbecue (the owners approved it in advance). Gorgeous setting, great porches, huge covered carport, magnificent master suite- we loved it and recommend it! We'll be back!"
