A wonderful vintage lake front cabin on a quiet, no-wake cove in Lake Lure, NC. This charming cabin is the perfect spot for a relaxing mountain lake vacation. Cozy enough for 2, but can sleep 6-8. Several upgrades, including Wireless internet connection, exterior freshly painted, new screen porch and ceiling fans added in 2011. Also now have PONTOON BOAT available for rental at additional charge.
We usually rent by the week in the busy summer months, but are happy to have a 2-night rental the rest of the year. Please don't hesitate to ask.
The main level of this cabin, which is easily accessed from the parking area with no stairs, has a fully equiped kitchen and a breakfast area with expansive windows overlooking the lake. Adjacent to the kitchen is an inviting living area with a vaulted ceiling with wood beams, a natural stone fireplace with gas logs, warm vintage hardwood floors, and an additional dining area overlooking the lake. On this level is also the master bedroom with a king bed and a charming dressing alcove with a pedestal sink. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a window overlooking the lake. The third bedroom has twin bunk beds. The full bathroom with walk-in shower is easily accessible to all bedrooms.
Several gentle stone steps lead down to the lake with 3 spacious decks for sunning and socializing. Just off the swimming deck is a stone outdoor grill for old fashioned grilling. There is also a second gas grill in the covered cabana, which has a ceiling fan. The cove is easily accessed from local marinas if you wish to rent a boat.
For those unable to navigate stairs, there is a screened porch on the main level just off the living area that is a nice spot to sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake.
On the lower level is a bonus basement suite with its own outside entrance with a futon sofa, bistro table and chairs, TV, phone and small, but full bath. The suite is perfect for teenage children or grandparents.
While conveniently located close to many activities, you will be tempted to never leave this perfect lakefront vacation home.

Historic Hendersonville, NC is only 35 minutes away.
Asheville and the famous Biltmore Estate are only 25 miles away.
Rates:
$500-750 for 2 nights, or 1200.00-1600.00 per week, depending on the season. 4th of July week: $1800
50% deposit required + $30 nonrefundable reservation fee + 11.75% tax. Must be paid in full 31 days prior to arrival.
Check-in: 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Check-out: 10:00 a.m.
60 days notice to cancel in order to receive refund, less $50 cancellation fee.
