Courtside 53 is a two-story townhouse, one flight above street level. This unit offers Wi-Fi along with 3 Flat Screen TV's (each with their own DVD player). Both Full Baths were updated in 2014. Courtside is 1.5 blocks from the beach and next door to Van Der Meer Tennis Center. A special membership with Van der Meer provides Courtside guests with tennis privileges up to one hour per day per condo. This community has two on-site pools, a lagoon with fountain, and parking at the front door of each property. Courtside is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, the Beach Market and Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King bed in master bedroom, two twins in bedroom 2, living room sleep sofa, two full-sized baths plus powder room.

The location was convenient for walking to the beach and going to other attractions on the island. The pool area was very nice. Some updates to the kitchen and some new matching dishes and glasses and cookware would make cooking meals nicer. My sons said that the twin beds in the second bedroom were somewhat noisy. A nice bonus for us was a credit toward rental beach gear, which was delivered right to the condo." Courtside 53 was located in a wonderful area and offered great amenities. The unit itself could use a little updating. Th A/C stopped working one eve but was repaired the very next day. The Toaster did not work and cookware was sparse. I had to boil water to wash dishes because the water in the kitchen sink would only reach luke warm temperatures. The furniture upholstery could use a good cleaning. We covered the chairs with sheets to set on. The curtains and bedspreads need replaced or deep cleaned. I scraped it with my finger! Some came off so it wasn’t like it couldn’t have been cleaned. None of the bathrooms seemed cleaned very well and the chairs in the living room were still damp from I’m assuming someone sitting there in a wet bathing suit?! We enjoyed our time Hilton Head but if we ever visit again we will find another place to stay. I expected the condo to be cleaner since there is a cleaning fee for each renter for this. Also the sliding door did not lock. The only security was to put the wood in the track. Seems like a small thing to get working.
