Introducing Ocean View SIV26! This 2nd floor beachfront efficiency condo is in the heart of Port Aransas. It has recently been remodeled with a coastal theme throughout. The spacious bedroom offers 2 full size beds and a full bathroom. The oversized patio off the living area has a wonderful view of the beach. Sea Isle Village is a fabulous community complete with an over-sized pool, sports court and playground area for the kids. There is centrally located beach access. There is parking allowed for ONE vehicle at this unit. If you are to rent a golf cart, you must go to the onsite Sea Isle Village office and get a parking pass from them. Parking passes are required. "Exactly what I wanted, almost
This is the first time my family and I have rented out something like this. We loved staying here. Let me get the only con out of the way and say that the beds are not comfortable, but other than that we definitely will return. It is a short walk to the beach, quick access to convenient stores, and has everything you need for the littles; pool, basketball court, playground. I am not sure if there was laundry on site.... Couldn't find it although they provided laundry pods. The view from the balcony is nice. Have a rinse station for when you get back to the property from the beach. They remote was working for the volume and then it stopped and we couldn't figure it out, but that wasn't a huge bother. Definitely would recommend to others. "

"A Relaxing Stay with Ocean Views
My sister and I had a wonderful experience at this condo. It was exceptionally clean and surprisingly spacious. The location was ideal, with the front door facing the inviting pool and the back patio offering stunning beach views.
The kitchen was well-equipped, featuring brand-new pots and pans, an abundance of plates and cups, and even two coffee pots. We appreciated having a dishwasher and all the necessary kitchen utensils. For two people, the space was very comfortable, allowing us to unwind and relax.
The beds were remarkably cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. One of our favorite features was the desk that overlooked the beach. Sitting there, coloring and gazing at the ocean, was truly therapeutic.
The only minor issue was the shower curtain liner in the bathroom, which needed replacement due to its dirtiness. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean views and left feeling refreshed. We would happily return to stay in this same condo for another relaxing getaway."

"Cheerful Coastal Room with a View
I love Sea Isle Village. We stayed downstairs last year but I wanted a room with a view this year. I love how it is decorated, you definitely feel you are on the coast. It was a lovely stay even with Tropical Storm Harold blowing in.
The pool was quickly cleaned the next day.
There aren’t any basic condiments or coffee on site. I bought some sugar and left it there for future visitors. Bring what you think you will need. "

"Very Pleased! Above My Expectations!
The 2nd story condo I stayed in was exactly as described except better. It was decorated very tastefully, appliances clean & working, plenty of cookware, utensils & dishes. (even wine glasses & corkscrew) The towels and linens were soft, clean and smelled fresh. Even the extra blankets were nice Velux. There was NO sand inside or on the back balcony, which had an awesome view of the Gulf. The property was quiet and peaceful. The pool was unusable for both days I was there, due to the water being green, so had to be serviced, but no big deal. I was there for the beach, which this property is very close to. However, beware of the mosquitoes on the LONG walk through the dunes to the beach from the condos. We rented a golf cart. MUCH EASIER! Because this property is in town, everything - restaurants, shopping, etc. was accessible by cart. Check-in & out went flawlessly. All in all, I was VERY pleased with Sea Isle Village, I will definitely stay here again & recommend it to my family & friends. "

"Great Condo
The condo was cute, spotless, updated and had a great AC. The walk to the beach was not that pleasant. You had to walk through hot, brown, ankle deep stagnated water. Gross!! We ended up getting a beach permit.
We called management about an after hours issue. The young man that answered my call told me that "Betty" gets mad if he calls her after hours, which he repeated several times when I questioned him how to handle the situation. We handled it ourselves. I was very pleased with the condo, but not impressed at all with Port A Escapes. "

Another resort canceled on us less then 24 hours before our check in. This property and its ownership was quick to help. The picture match reality. It was a beautiful place at a great price right on the beach. I know where we will be staying next time we visit and I recommend to anyone else needing a cozy place to rent on the beach. "

Sea Isle Village. What a wonderful property. Everything was as described. Unit 26 is perfect. A very short walk to the beach and only minutes to downtown Port A and all it has to offer. The condo was immaculate. The property management great. Check in and check out a breeze. Sitting here on the deck my last morning here watching the sunrise. I can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Coffee in hand and reflection on what a perfect trip this has been. I would highly recommend this property. Cheers!!"

"Great little studio on the beach
The staff at Port A escapes was friendly, the condo was cute, clean and cozy. Worked well for a long weekend for my husband and I and our two children. The only downside to the complex is that while there’s a sidewalk leading most of the way to the beach, there is no actual boardwalk over the dune. That trek can be quite treacherous with burning hot sand and a wagon full of beach gear. Typically it wouldn’t be an issue, but thanks to the ‘Rona driving on the beach was not permitted at the time of our stay. I’d rent here again! "

Our condo was very clean, warm, cozy and comfortable. The condo description of it's location, layout and amenities was accurate. It was very well-maintained. The manager provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this property to my family and friends. We enjoyed going on a sunset cruise and our time spent at the beach. We had great food and customer service at MacDaddy's, Irie's, Stingray's and the Donut Palace. "

"Amazing Vacation Rental for Families
We stayed in #26 and the condo was decorated so cute and was extremely clean. The grounds were well kept, the pool was very clean and large, and the kids play set was AMAZING! My only complaint is the beach access is not wood all the way and you have to climb a sand mountain to get to the water. It was difficult for us with a cooler and other beach equipment. We would definitely rent here again! "

We really liked this little condo except for the little roaches. Saw about 10 German cockroaches over a period of 6 days.
Also, there was no dishwasher soap, so we washed everything by hand.
Otherwise, condo had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. Was very clean other than the roaches.

"Probably will not stay in that unit again
My husband and I had been going to Port Aransas since the 1970's and have stayed at Sea Isle Village many times. We have not been there in about 8 years and were amazed at the changes. We did not like the fact that we had to trek out to a rental company to pickup the keys to the unit and trek back again to return them!! We always dealt directly with the office personnel at Sea Isle Village and had no problems. We did enjoy the unit, the owners have decorated it very nicely. Although, the toilet had a problem and was reported to the rental company. However, I really do think the unit was entirely overpriced!, but I guess that's the way PA has become now. I wish that Sea Isle Village would do something about the walkway down to the beach...I'm 68 and in fairly good physical condition, but walking over that sandy hill and back near gave me a heart attack, I had to grab on to the vegetation to make it over the hill. I see other condos have more user friendly walkways and wonder why Sea Isle cannot. We enjoyed our stay, but will probably book somewhere else in the future."

the rental experience overall was ok from the time I called to get information and to get all the documents signed the process went by very quickly I kind of got the feeling that I was being rushed but when I arrived the receptionist greeted me well and answered my questions that I didn't get to ask when I first called the rental unit was clean and very well decorated we really enjoyed the view from the patio of the ocean the only problems to unit had were ceiling tiles that had to be replaced
the toilet will not flush well because of water pressure
and the shower also had no pressure which was hard to rinse off soap taking a shower"

"Sea Isle Condos Port A
Overall the experience was very good. Well maintained and conveniently located condo near both beach and town. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The swimming pool on the property was very nice and well maintained. We had a nice view of the gulf from our balcony (although the balconies were divided only by a waist high wooden fence). A few areas that could use improvement: mattresses were poor quality, sheets were stained, the remote for the TV didn't work, window blinds were plastic so they did not block the bright morning sun. With improvements in these area, we would give it a rating of five without a doubt."

"Sea Isle Village in Port A service slipping
We stayed at SIV July 2012 and arrived in Port A around 1 pm. I called and was told our room was not ready. But was told I would be called when the room was ready. Never got a call. Finally went by the office at 3 pm (after killing time for 2 hrs.) and given the key.
For this visit (Aug 2013)I told the office we would not be in Port A before their 6 pm office closure when I made the reservations. Was told to call the day of our arrival to let them know we would be late so they could set up a lock box. Called that afternoon and was told to call around 5:30 to let them know how far out we were. At that time was told they would leave the key under the door mat. When we walked into the room, a blind was broke and off the window. So I had a room with a bare window. I found an extra sheet to put up to cover the window. We stopped at the office the next morning to let them know about the broken blind and a broken chair on the deck. He knew where we staying since I had asked about a parking permit. But he never asked my name or what room we were staying in. Just told we would not be charged for any damage. When we returned the keys for check out, I again told the woman behind the counter about the broken blind and chair. She just said OK. Never asked my name or where we were staying. $150+ a night is a lot when I have to take steps to cover a bare window so I will have privacy. Not having room service and having to take out the trash is not what I consider good customer service. But the room was comfortable and nicely decorated. "Beautiful Condo
Met my family in Port A and stayed at this Unit at Sea Isle Village. Nice view from the balcony and short walk to the beach. The outside of property is a little older, but the inside is amazing and very nicely decorated. We only vacation during the week to avoid weekend crowds and had no noise problems. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. Will definitely be back. "

"One of the worst experiences I've ever had
The property management was not consiterent of other guests when they made a decision to perform Maintenence on the room adjacent to ours. Maintenence workers were shouting profanity in the ceiling above our unit. We are now dealing with a 3 yr old whom is repeating what she heard. If that wasn't enough, one or the workers kicked the ceiling above our unit shower out and put my wife into a panic. The inconsiderate actions of these employees has affected my family and for that I will not be recommending this upon anyone else. "

"Our Sea Isle Village Experience
The condo we rented was beautiful and very cozy! The view was georgous! The property staff (Bobbie, Carolyn, & Billy) were very friendly and extremely accommodating. We also enjoyed the many activities that went on during our stay, as well as the tenants. The only negative aspect of our stay was the way the management company handled the rental arrangements. When we moved in, we were told, by the property manager, that we had first choice regarding renting our condo for next year. We said we needed to make sure I could handle the stairs. Two weeks later, we told her we did want the condo, but she informed me that the management company had already rented it to someone else. They also wanted a huge deposit, and payment for our entire stay the day we checked in. We do not feel that is appropriate! As a result, we do not wish to do business with Port Aransas Escapes in the future."

"Charming, great view; we
Very cheery, roomy, and comfortable. Yellow, white, and an overall Laura Ashley feel. This is a 2nd floor unit so you can see from the balcony over the dunes and grasses to the sea. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was very peaceful and quiet. I'm glad the two units on either side were vacant because if everyone's out on their balconies you're basically on the same balcony...if privacy is an issue.
Two words of caution: if you're used to a king or queen bed, you'll find the double beds very "cozy". Also, there is a plastic sheath on the mattresses that's there for practical reasons I'm sure, i.e., in case of "liquids", but in spite of the bed pad above it it doesn't breathe at all and can get you kind of sweaty. We wound up taking the comforter off the spare bed and using it as an extra, cotton layer on top of the mattress. However, this was not a show-stopper and don't let it put you off. Just a suggested change for the owners. We'll be back!"

"Sea Isle Condos
Great location, nice view of the beach. Police were called on rowdy, drunk neighbors two doors down the first night we were there, but they were apparently asked to leave and did so the next day. Office lady was very apologetic. Blackout curtains would be a nice addition as the sun lights up the room very early in the morning making it hard to sleep in. A box or two of Kleenex and a hair dryer would be nice, too. Curious about $30.00 cleaning charge. When we arrived we were given a list of cleaning instructions to follow before departing. With a few minor changes, it could be ideal!"
