Since we have a medium sized dog, we asked the management company if the entire yard was fenced in. They said yes. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Only the very small portion of the yard with a fire pit and picnic table are fenced in along with the jacuzzi in the back. But the driveway and front door are not. So, if you open the front door our dog would run right into the street chasing squirrels. Luckily there were no cars driving by. Excellent Game Room though!! I only wish they would fix the drive way up, it's kind of steep and everytime I left somewhere My car scraped the bottom, so if you rent this place just stay far to the left while pulling up unless you have a car that's not so close to the ground ☺️, a few other things there is really no back yard so I just took my dog to the front to go pee and poop not a really big deal. There was everything you need in the home, including cooking salt, pepper, lots of spices, utensils , pots pans and they even had huge dog bowls for food and water which was a plus ��������‍��, you could tell they love their animals as much as we do. One downfall is their refrigerator needs replacing because it never really got cold enough also the ice maker in the freezer did not really make ice, it got cold enough but took forever. Overall I would definitely book this place again. Just being a cooler to keep things super cold and lots of ice because that freezer will not make any for you. I'm already looking forward to our next trip in March 2024. The game room was well used around the clock! Ping pong (converted pool table), pool, air hockey, racing arcades and arcade games were a huge hit! Foosball worked fine but didn’t get much play time. We also loved the big kitchen/dining room/family room space. It was a great room for family time. Gas fireplace added to the ambience. The cabin felt cozy and relaxing- coordinating “cabin” decor and bedding made it feel more like a special location getaway. It felt like a cabin! WiFi worked well on all tvs and our devices. Gas grill worked well and has all tools. Outside gas fireplace was amazing and easy to use. Microwave, oven and fridge all great. Hot tub was perfect- loved that the latches to close the lid are intact- so littles can’t open. Lots of games and DVDs. Kitchen had lots of stovetop cookware and utensils. Plus, Crockpot, toaster, rice cooker, toaster oven... but no cookware for the oven!! Lots of counter space! Tips: bring towels for hot tub. Bring cookie sheets or pans you may need for the oven. There were zero. Bring 13 gallon garbage bags. (They only provided one in kitchen). Bring toilet paper and paper towels and a “clicker” to light fireplaces. One big con is driving out all of your garbage after your stay... it’s on the way out of town and was cumbersome to hold on our laps as we drove. Seems like cleaning crew should take care of that. The cabin is wired with high speed internet that allowed for a bit of work to be done in the mornings before starting off to Bear Mountain. In one bunk bed we found a used lollipop between the sheets and when I messaged in the hospitality app that same day we found it, no one responded from the rental office. The second morning one of us woke up with bug bites on their face. It was a cluster of bites and it’s been just over 48hrs since it happened from sleeping in the bunk room that their face is still super swollen and their doctor recommended going to urgent care for treatment. We have not hear heard back from rental office still about communicating possible bug issues with the house. The supervisor has not called us back yet. We found the hot tub with a lot of styrofoam pieces floating in the water. We did not complain about the day of because it didn’t bother us enough to have someone come to the house to scoop it out. Because of the snow we could not find a pool sweep thing, so I’m listing it here for the office to know to clean it for the next guests. After check out we still did not receive a reply about what we complained about. We had to call to get a hold of someone. When checking out it says to turn down the used beds so maybe that’s why we found trash in one. They don’t strip and clean each bed after guests leave. They only cleaned what “looked” dirty. The surfaces in the house were dusty. So it seems they just need an actual cleaning crew that cleans the entire place between guests. Especially with covid, they need to fully clean. Don’t use this rental if you care about cleanliness. There was a hole in the back of the couch so not sure how often someone from the rental office checks the property. We are bringing in food from grocery stores and other amenities that are not provided for us. We were told there would be plates, cups, etc... At least you could’ve left us liquid detergent for the dishwasher. Or even maybe more trash bags if you want us to take them out and throw them two miles away. Charging $185 cleaning fee should include trash being taken out. That is a lot of money to charge for cleaning! We are completely unhappy. Not to mention you electronically turned off our heater in the middle of the night our first night stay and all of us were freezing to death when we woke up. FYI... The sofas are extremely dirty. I called again 20 mins later and was given the incorrect code. then at the door with kids needed to call again and was given the correct code. Then, my kids noticed dog poop on the rug in the game room. I emailed and texted about it and no one responded. I replied to an email from the management company asking if we wanted to book an extra night and told them that I'd been trying to reach them about the dog poop. They said they were very busy booking people into other homes and didn't have time to respond. I asked for the cleaning fee to be reimbursed and was denied. house is great! management not great."
