Main floor provides cozy living area with wood fireplace, small and functional kitchen, and formal dining seats to 8 comfortably, 10 is doable. Patio off dining area with BBQ. Main floor has 3 piece bath with stand up shower. Second level offers cozy master with window seat and TV, Main Bath with jetted tub, second and third bedrooms. The top floor provides a great room for kids with 3 twins and one futon and a TV! Updated Bathrooms in November 2013 offer spa like relaxation after hitting the slopes. Bedding: King, Twins or King in second, Single Bunks in third, Fourth bedroom on top floor - 3 singles and futon.
You will find Main lifts of Whistler Village out the front and to the right and with the Upper Village lifts just across the street. Take the back route along Fitzsimmons Creek only steps from the quaint covered bridge to parking lot 1 and the mid Village entrance. (Note guests checking in must be 25 + aside from children with families due to insurance provider restrictions on our policy. )

CANCELLATION – The deposit as shown for the property at the time of the online booking is refundable of $500 CDN less a $35 cancellation fee for bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund less the fee. "Nice condo, great location
The condo fit our group of 10 perfectly. Gillian was very responsive. Nicely appointed and great location. Only complaint is very little room for skis and equipment. Overall great stay!"

"Family Christmas 2023
Perfect home for our family Christmas get-together (from U.K. and Australia). It had everything we needed for the duration of our stay with a couple of little extras included as a warm welcome. The actual house was very clean, plenty of towels available, kitchen had everything we required to make meals and the local supermarket wasn’t too far away to top up on supplies.
The Gables was the perfect location for us - a quiet area but within easy walking distance between both the main ski villages/gondolas which was ideal as none of us had a car. Main bus stop area a short walk away from the house. We only used this once to take the children to the local swimming pool. "

Excellent lodging near the hill. Very friendly and responsive hosts! Plenty of space for our group to sleep and relax. Small kitchen so designate one cook at a time! Only complaint was the windows do not open and it was very hot. A few of them open a small flap but not enough to get air flow through the unit. "

"Almost got there but not quite
Overall it was fine. I would have preferred greater responsiveness from Destination Properties - many times I needed to follow them up regarding communication and messages - they were always polite and friendly, yet slow to respond or unresponsive. It would have been nice if they had checked in on us when we arrived to see if everything is ok - that didn't happen. It was clear they are just an intermediary booking agency and once you are booked in they sort of lose interest in you. However everything worked fine - it just would have been appreciated if there were some more care and attention, which there wasn't.
The apartment was very clean and functional. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen as the pots and pans and utensils were old and tired and need to be replaced - for a premium rental price this place needs to have great quality cooking appliances and that was not the case.
The fireplace is not actually a fireplace with wood - instead it takes some man-made product.
Great location and very clean which was great.
Overall a 3.5 experience.

Gables 17 lodge is a real gem amongst the wonderland that is Whistler.
Situated in a beautiful wooded area just out of the village, Gables 17 set up feels just like your home away from home.
It is warm, comfortable, spacious and relaxing after a long day of skiing.
We would thoroughly recommend this as a premier place to stay when visiting Whistler.
Every feature and appointment has been provided to help make this an A class experience
To top it off, our a host Gillian was tremendous. She really is a terrific host who put the icing on the cake for our stay.

"Great May long weekend stay
The location was great! Quick walk to all lifts and gondolas, and to the village. Parking was easy, and with having the two spots made it easy to leave what you could walk to and drive without risking losing your spot!
The property was quiet during the evenings, and had great green space during the day to hang out for a break. The condo was nicely updated and had everything you could need for your stay!
This will be the spot we book from now on!"

"Not recommended
The heater didn’t work on first day of our arrival. No hot water at all after only two people shower with reasonable time. No parking, so our vehicle got towed even we parked in the parking spot and paid for the fine for $280, I think Gillian and Tanya got some relationships with towing company, they never pick up the phone when we reported no heater and hot water(when we call on 4pm in the afternoon ), but call the towing company so quick and immediately. Also, the most disappointed thing is Tanya is not a nice/ kind person, she used some racist words during the conversation we had in the phone. If you would like a peaceful and nice vocation, I do recommend not booking their unit."

"Girls weekend!
We were very happy with our stay. Our host was super nice and a lot of help a real pleasure to deal with. The location was amazing very short stroll to the village. The beds were comfortable the living room was cozy. The kitchen was a bit tight, which was our only complaint. We would definitely stay at this place again. It would’ve been nice to have a hot tub available in the complex but we knew that booking this condo."

"Cute townhouse
We really enjoyed our stay! We had 10 people in our group and this townhouse was perfect. Great location. Everything was in walking distance. Our host Gillian was so nice. We arrived 30 mins before check in and she was there to greet us and even let us in early! It was really clean and had sanitizer and wipes if we needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"Perfect for Large Family/Group
Townhouse had lots of rooms and beds with perfect privacy for our group of 7 + 2 small dogs. Location was fabulous and truly appreciated the free parking for 2 vehicles. Only issues were the 2nd floor washroom tub wouldn't drain well and at times the townhouse got warm but the patio slider and many fans helped. No windows in living room open so that room and kitchen can get warm when temperature hit mid 20s."

"Fantastic place, amazing service from Destination Whistler Team
So this place was way beyond my expectations because literally- I had booked according to my budget another place, which due to a technical snafu was double booked. Gillian and Tanya at Destination Whistler jumped on it before I knew what was going on and without charge upgraded us to a place beyond our wildest dreams. The gesture was so professional and so seamless, and the place so luxurious and perfectly located, I could not muster a single complaint if I tried. It’s a ten out of ten. We loved it and plan to go again over Christmas. "

"Nice family property
We rented this home for a multi-generational vacation, and it worked very well. Very quiet area right in the river, just minutes walk to both Whistler and Blackcomb. Free lost lake shuttle stops right in front of property. No AC, so get warm in the afternoon."

The rental was only minutes from the Village. The layout and size of the property was enough to fit 8 people comfortably for a weekend. Some of the sheets were stained and part of the bathtub fell off, but otherwise a great property overall."

"Another great stay at The Gables 17
We recently had our third stay at The Gables 17 (over a period of 5 years). It was great to come back to a familiar space and the kids (5 in total) feel like it's their ski holiday home now.
With plenty of space for two families, and in close proximity to both Whistler & Blackcomb, it is the ideal spot to stay.
The recent refurbishment of the downstairs Lounge Room, Kitchen & Dining Room gave the Gables 17 a fresh look. It would be great if the owners consider refurbishing the bathrooms and upstairs areas in the near future to match the downstairs
Gillian from Destination Properties was at the property to welcome us upon arrival and provided immediate assistance with anything we required during our stay.
We look forward to staying at The Gables again next year."

Our annual Girls Weekend was a great weekend. The location of this complex is perfect for walking into the village. The set up of the unit we stayed in was perfect. The management company was extremely accommodating when it came to our parking requests. Can't wait to book again next year."

Overall very good. The property manager on site was very helpful given the very unusual heat. The payment system was confusing as my payments remained "Due" even months after I paid them which worried me that I wouldn't get my reservation. They still show as due on VRBO today!! The VRBO website is very poor in trying to resolve this issue."

"Staff housing for Whistler Event
We were in search of accommodation close to the Village for our staff to use as a base while working at Crankworx. It was literally a minutes walk to the base of the mountain. The House was nice and had enough beds to give everyone some space to themselves. It had two bathrooms which was a big help in the mornings. Storage is not at a premium. The two parking spaces with the unit were great for us too. Checking in was easy and painless. With 5-6 people in the house it sometimes felt a bit crowded in the kitchen area. Would recommend it to anybody who wants to be in walking distance of lifts and village. "

My husband and I brought 5 college kids for their spring break. PROS: We called management a few time and they were always kind, helpful, and quick to respond. The condo is across the street from the lifts and the village is an easy walk away. The third floor loft had 4 twin beds that were perfect for the 4 young men with us. We all slept well as the mattresses were comfortable. CONS: We had seating issues for 7 when we tried to hang out in the den and it would be nice to have more opaque curtains on the bedroom windows for sleeping in. Overall, we would highly recommend this condo."

"Great location - very clean - quick management
We were 5 adults and 5 kids and loved the location situated between Blackcomb and Whistler bases. I would've given it a 5 star rating for location as it said in the description that it's "ski in ski out". It's very close to the bases but you have to take your skis off and walk across major streets to get to the townhouse. Not easy when you have 5 kids. What we did was store all the gear (boards, skis, poles) in the truck and have someone drive the gear to the base and someone walk some kids to the base. Depending on our day we'd park the car up at Car Park 7 or 8 or take it back to the townhouse.
It had enough room for sleeping accommodations. We had all the kids upstairs and it was perfect. The owner was quick to respond and very courteous if there were any issues.
A couple of things to mention was the size of the foyer. It's small to get everything in there comfortably and to get boots on or off especially with 10 guests. I would suggest maybe having more hooks installed in the foyer area and main bathroom to accommodate kids mitts, snow pants and hats to dry as they both have good heat. I would also suggest a hand blender and the knives sharpened but that's just me. All in all a great place for a great price for what we needed! I would recommend this to other friends & family!

Comfortably slept our group of 10 and conveniently located a very short walk from village and lifts. Owners were fabulous and available for questions, residence was clean and ample lines and supplies ~ we found everything we needed! Had a lovely time and will definitely re connect for future stays.
