"Icing on the Cake" is located in the heart of Suncadia Resort, just a short walk from the award winning Prospector Golf Course clubhouse and the Stovehouse restaurant. Just out the backdoor is the Suncadia trail that will lead you on a walk or bike ride through the scenic resort and its many kid friendly parks. This luxury home features four bedrooms including 2 Master Suites, and 3.5 bathrooms. Ten guests can sleep comfortably on beds.

This well-designed home features a comfortable great room with a fantastic outdoor living space complete with a private hot tub, and a gas fire pit! The kiddos will love playing in the heated garage game room which also features a Ping Pong Table. The whole family will enjoy the free high-speed, WiFi Internet.
The well stocked kitchen features stainless appliances and a large bar for preparing great in-home meals. The dining table seats 6 comfortably, with additional seating at the kitchen bar for 4. Just off the kitchen is the very comfortable living room that boasts a Gas Fireplace, large flat screen TV with YouTube TV and DVD Player! The comfortable furniture is great for relaxing and taking in your favorite TV Program or Movie. The main floor of the home is accented by hand scraped hardwood floors. Just off the kitchen is a powder room.
Off the great room is one of two King Master Suites! This Bedroom features a flat screen TV and a beautifully designed tile master bath. Just up a flight of stairs to the 2nd Floor and you'll find an additional King Master Suite and 2 Guest Bedrooms. The 2nd Floor Master boasts a private bath, and a flat screen TV. At the other end of the hallway you'll enter the two Guest Bedrooms that share a "Jack and Jill" bathroom. The kid's "Bunk Room" is furnished with two Twin over Twin Bunk Beds. This room sleeps 4. The additional guest bedroom features a Queen Bed and a TV.
This is an ideal getaway for two to three families. The central location of the cabin in Prospector's Reach makes it a fantastic destination to enjoy all the Resort's activities including golf, hiking, bike riding, ice skating, winter tubing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, horseback riding, and river rafting! You'll also enjoy gourmet meals at Suncadia's Portals Restaurant, The Stovehouse restaurant, and Swiftwater Winery! Walk to golf at the award winning Prospector's Golf Course, or take a short 1 mile drive through the resort to enjoy Suncadia's newest public course, Rope Rider!
Parking space for 2 cars. Additional cars may park in the Prospector Inn parking lot.

If you cancel your reservation with less than a 60 day notice (90 day notice for Holiday periods) your payments are non-refundable, but you have up to a year to re-book the same cabin during one of our designated Off-Seasons for a 20% re-booking fee.

"Beautiful pristine home in Suncadia
This was a girls gathering (well 63 year olds catching up!). This home is so complete and clean. It looks brand new. We spent time in the hot tub, played ping pong, and went on several walks around the neighborhood and to the winery and the lodge and from the lodge down to the river. I highly recommend this home for friends or a family or 2 small families. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. "

"Wonderful mini vacation at Suncadia
Our group of long time women friends rented Icing On The Cake for a long weekend to celebrate our birthdays. We had a wonderful time! The house was lovely and very clean. Perfect for six of us. The only downside was that the mattresses on the beds in the bunk room were very thin and uncomfortable. The resort is upscale with lots of things to do, nice restaurants, and friendly people. Overall a lovely getaway. "

"Great Suncadia Stay for Kids
The house was just as described, very clean, easy check-in and great communication. Great location, perfect for kids with the bunk room and garage playroom. It's fairy close to many other properties so if privacy is important, I wouldn't recommend this spot (windows look into other houses, backyard open to other back yards, etc so the firepit is a bit awkward) We were two families celebrating thanksgiving and the kitchen was stocked pretty minimally so we needed to buy a lot from Safeway (like cookie sheets, tin foil, salt/pepper, a lot of basics). Overall recommend this house for families with young kids. "

"Great Stay- LOVED the playroom garage
We had a great time in this home! Two families with four kids total (two two year olds and two four year olds) The house was very clean. The thing we loved most was the playroom garage. It was right off the kitchen. We were able to keep an eye on the kids while cooking/hanging out inside. The outdoor fire pit was great. Easy to turn on, wonderful heat. The downstairs master was a great size with closet that fit a pack and play. The bunk room upstairs was so cool for the kids with a Jack and jill Bathroom connecting to another room. We were able to put the kids to sleep in the bunk room and still Be close by in case they woke. There’s another bedroom with an AWESOME king bed. So cozy!
The check out to dos were easy and quick!
Good to know: there are no spices/oils/anything so pack your own or be ready to purchase at Safeway nearby. Bring something to cover the windows if you want a dark room for kids. (Installing blackout shades would be a huge help!) rooms are bright and my Kids struggled to go down/woke extra early. Oh and hot Tub would make this place THE BEST!
Overall we had a great stay! Only reason I wouldn’t stay again was just bc we’d love a hot tub but otherwise loved the home! "

"Cozy house for family GTG
The house was very nice and well maintained. It was well stocked, but could use a covered oven safe dish of some sort. The ping pong table was great as was the outdoor fire pit. The location is nice however it is located very close to other houses which isn't a huge deal just know that the neighbors can see you and vice versa. The one thing about the house that is kind of off-putting is the amount of little signs everywhere telling you what you can and can't do. All the rules and information is located in the information book, as well as emailed to the renter. The signs are a little much. We would recommend the property. We'll be back."

"Great property in a beautiful setting
This was our third trip to Suncadia and always have a wonderful time. This house is beautiful and has some great amenities: ping pong table, fire pit, bikes, etc. Only complaint is that due to how close houses are around this property there is not much privacy. But still had a great time."

"Truly the Icing on the Cake house
We booked this house for a wedding weekend; our family of four was all a part of the wedding and we needed somewhere that felt like home with enough space for our family of babysitters. This house had everything we needed; a bathroom for each couple/ person, a kids bedroom, a separate toilet room, plenty of space to have fun and an amazing kid’s playroom. There was something for everyone here, our family was able to play with kids and relax and enjoy the ambiance of the holidays with how they had it decorated. It couldn’t have been more perfect and then it snowed; we got to see the house in a multi season experience. Everything felt like home, we didn’t need any assistance but when emailing responses were quick and friendly. Would definitely rent through them again and highly recommend. :)"

"Perfect House for Family Vacation
This house was perfect for our family vacation to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The finished garage with toys was so much fun for our granddaughter. Walking paths are close by with a nice play neighborhood playground. The bigger park was a short drive away. The house is clean and stocked with the basics. We have have already talked about our next visit. :) "

"Great stay in Suncadia
This house is beautiful, feels spacious, and is well maintained. The property management company answered ALL of my questions (and I had a lot) very quickly and had a maintenance person out quickly when we had an issue with a toilet. He was even gracious when we asked him to come back later because of a napping child. The only hiccup was a lot of the answers to my questions about what items were available at the property were wrong (there was a baby gate there, there isn't a child height table). In the end we weren't missing anything crucial and we even had some things we weren't expecting! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us. "

"A fun and quiet family getaway.
The Icing on the cake house at cake box lane was truly a sweet experience. We are a family of 5 with 3 Kids aged 9,7,4 so having a lot of space to run around and a well equipped play room was a real treat. The rooms are well equipped and highly maintained. The kitchen has almost all and everything you can think of. Naturally no perishables. All the instructions of the equipment in the house were very elaborated and when we needed help it was easy to get it over the phone. Some of the down sides were that the construction crew was working very close to the house- 6 feet from the window and it felt weird. I was missing some essential perishables in the kitchen like salt and sugar that when missing can spoil the experience. The coffee machine is great though it is worth while to say in advanced that it is Keurig so people can stock up with pods they like. Having a Safeway nearby solved all issues. Overall great vacation. "

"Lovely home, beds need rethinking
Lovely home and very central location to community amenities. The play room was a HUGE hit for the 3 kids. House was clean, but there were several kitchen items that were put away fully dirty (not just poorly cleaned). That was no big deal. The beds however need to be rethought. There are plastic sheets made of shower curtain material underneath the mattress pads. They were not only loud to sleep on but RIDICULOUSLY hot. And I’m not a hot sleeper. The 4 adults present all slept horribly. We considered taking them off, but I was worried that they were serving another sanitary purpose and was freaked out about taking them off. Please consider getting breathable waterproof mattress covers for the beds for guests. The kids loved the bunk beds, but the mattresses on the bunks are simple
4” foam and the older kids complained about feeling the bars through the mattress. Plywood sheeting between the frame and mattress would be a cost effective fix."

Loved the house its amenities location and layout. Very well apportioned, loved the game room conversion. Loved that the resorts amenities were available to guests. The only minor item were the mattresses on the bunk beds were underwhelming. All the other beds were great though."

"Fine Place, Would Rent Elsewhere Next Time
Our stay here overall was good. The place had room for everyone and was clean. Master bedroom doors didn't lock which was not ideal. The place had AC but you're not allowed to turn it below 72 degrees. The place had a firepit but no instructions on how to operate it. We reached out via phone and email asking how to operate the firepit but received no response. The property was also directly next to two homes under construction which was never shared with us during booking. Luckily most of our stay was during the weekend when there was no construction taking place, but had we been staying more weekdays it would have been terrible as the construction began (loudly) at 7am. This seems like something that you should share with prospective guests. Overall the place was good and worked well for our group, but if I return to Suncadia I will likely choose a different property."

Playroom was great! Door hinges need oiling. Rug in living room is curled and trip hazard. Not your fault but neighbors noisy till 1 am and power out one morning. Should have numbers to call for those things in your book of instructions. Kitchen well stocked, appreciated all the plastic kid tableware."

Icing on the Cake was a wonderful home for a family vacation. The bedroom configuration with the bathrooms attached are perfect. The home is well equipped with everything needed to cook, and the garage is perfect for children. The home is very clean and comfortable, and close to everything. We walked and biked to parks, the lodge and the winery. It was a fabulous week! We would stay here again."

Lots of room to enjoy with friends. The kitchen was well-stocked and the entire property super clean. Three bedrooms were perfect and easily accommodated guests. The bunk beds in the 4th bedroom do not work, particularly for adults and probably not children either and should be replaced. All Seasons Vacations was awesome in many ways during our stay! "
