This beautiful Guadalupe River front home accommodates up to 14 people. It has three bedrooms with king sized beds and one room with a queen. Additional sleeping for 6 with sofa sleepers. Everything you need to make lasting wonderful memories is in this large house on the river. Offering free access to Wi-Fi and a smart TV since we know you need some of the pleasures from back home. This home has 2 kitchens including: refrigerators, oven/stove, microwave, coffee makers, blenders, pots, pans, plates, glasses etc. Each kitchen has it's own connected dining area and breakfast bar which together seats 14. High quality linens are provided for all beds and baths. BBQ pit available for use as well as two kayaks. There is one 10 foot and one 12 foot kayak. There is a fire pit (fire wood not provided.)
This property is dog friendly with a 2 dog maximum, 40lb max weight limit, an additional $25 per day per dog. Please make sure your breed is not on the do not rent to breed list. This property is down river from the historic Faust St. Bridge and immediately down river from the IH 35 public boat ramp only 1 minute off Hwy I 35. It is up river from Lake Dunlap. To float either the Guadalupe or Comal River, contact Rockin' R River Rides. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. Parking for up to 7 vehicles. This home has a maximum occupancy of 14 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.
To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $4500 per month.

"LOVELY VRBO ON YHE GUADALUPE RIVER
We had a wonderful family time at this VRBO. It was clean and had everythin that we needed to have a calming vacation. The beds and beddings were very nice, washer/dryer came in handy, 2 kitchens so lots of fridge space was great. It was close to restaurants and grocery stores. It was an ideal space to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren."

We had a party of 10 in the rental and had more than enough space. We loved the big kitchen and dining room. The home being on the water was our biggest selling point so we could swim. We had room for our 6 trucks to park as well. "

House was nice. Plenty of room for all of us. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen a nice size. Outside was beautiful! The only issue I have is that I wish someone would have gone in before we arrived to pick up all the roaches in the tubs and in the floor. "

"Texas River Haus
We recently stayed at the home, Texas River Haus, in New Braunfels,Tx.
The home couldn’t have been in a better location! We are in a drought in South Texas but there was plenty of refreshing water in the Guadalupe. The home provided kayaks For our enjoyment, and boy where they a big hit with my grandsons and daughters . The older, majestic home was very clean and organized. Such a beautiful property with beautiful trees and greenery plus the home itself had two living rooms, two dining rooms, two kitchens and four relaxing , comfy bedrooms , was more then enough for my small family of Eight . Plenty of room to be all together or for a little privacy. We would definitely stay here again , in fact , as we where packing up to come home my youngest grandson and granddaughter wanted to come back in two weeks and stay in this exact home. It was a wonderful weekend and New Braunfels Escapes helped so much to make it that way ! Thank you for a great end of summer blast!

"Riverfront Family Stay
The home was large and clean with all the needed amenities. It accommodated our group nicely and the game room was well stocked with fun games for all ages. The location was easy to access and close to all we wanted to do in New Braunfels. Our only disappointment was the outdoor space. The furniture was dirty from the trees and weather. The kayaks and life vests were thrown in the cage, dirty, wet and disorganized. I understand that it would be a huge job to maintain the outdoor space, but feel it shouldn't be advertised as a perk to the rental. Being on the river was ideal. Outdoor seating was ample, but needed cleaning before we could use it. Overall, the rental was nice, but the cost was in excess of the quality. "

The upstairs air conditioner was poorly arranged. The thermostat was in the bedroom with the one air conditioner and the other far bedroom remained so hot it was unable to be used. A window unit would be great. Otherwise it was great and our grandkids loved the river swing. "

"Beware
The grass was very unsightly when we arrived; the front door was Jammed shut; The premises was hot and never properly cooled despite attempts to remedy from the management company. We were there from July 11 five nights and hot, hot, hot. Only able to really enjoy the premises on one of the five nights we were there. we avoided staying there in the evenings because of the air-conditioning problem. The management company, New Braunfel Escapes was very unprofessional; as was the owner who got involved in the air-conditioning situation. Both the management company and the owner of the premises attempted to shift the blame for the air conditioning problem to me, the unwary traveler. The owner was downright rude. A man named Warren ... Who never once apologized for the extreme inconvenience imposed upon my family in that hot, hot, hot premises. The experience in the premises due to the heat was indescribable. Beware."

"Thanksgiving Pod
We had a very nice stay. The house is not fancy, but very comfortable. It is a bit older, but very homey, particularly if you have kids or dogs. There are two kitchens, 2 living spaces, and 4 refrigerators, which was great for holiday meals. The river was down, but the kayaks were still usable. I cannot say enough about the amount of space on the decks and porches. Lots of outside space. It was great for a few days away in the midst of Covid to gather our family comfortably. "

"Hurricane stay
Worst Vacation rental we ever had. House needed cleaning better, and ac didn’t Wouk up stairs. House stayed extremely hot all day and night. Repairman was sent but he fixed nothing. Ants in the bathroom from lack of bug control. "

"Big House
It's a good option if you're trying to accommodate a lot people, 15+. If you're looking for a really nice place for fewer people (we had only 7), look elsewhere. The house is not in a great location. You can see and hear traffic on 35 from the deck. River access is down a steep slope and you have to climb down and around the actual dock on large concrete blocks to get to the water (unless the water level is another 4 to 5 feet higher). The pictures of the house and dock are really flattering compared to what you'll see when you get there. To be fair, I was looking for a really nice upscale rental. It wasn't that but the house was serviceable. "

"Great trip
The house was spacious and the yard was enjoyable. We had 4 adults and 7 kids and plenty of room for everyone. The river was low so made the dock area a little more challenging to enter. Enjoyed the deck areas and kayaks. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is the mattresses were very squeaky and old. A couple of them need to be replaced. "

"Family special gathering.
Very relaxing, Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. It was very clean when we arrived.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay when you want to be in New Braunfels to go to the surrounding activities. It was a little difficult going down by the river, a little to steep for me since I am 68. My family members managed. We would go back again. Thank you for being so helpful to us and making our stay comfortable."

Great stay. Fantastic location. TIP to future guests: The queen room must be entered for guests in one of the futon rooms to access the bathroom and rest of the home. Queen room does not offer much privacy but perfect for family who doesn't need the privacy. "

"River Vacation
The location is perfect and the property manager is very responsive and professional. We had a few minor issues that the property manager addressed right away. There are several beautiful trees surrounding the home and it is on the river which attracts bugs. We had several tree roaches make their way inside. Just be cautious. The kids loved being right on the river and there was plenty of space for our family. We will definaltey be back!"

"Great house in a great location
House was awesome! The location was perfect for the stay and everything was there as described. The comfortable beds and couches made the house feel like home and made us not want to leave. Back yard with the deck was relaxing with nice shade trees covering areas of the deck making it nice to hang outside. Hill down to the water was a challenge but was manageable. Will definitely rent this property again on our next trip

"Large group getaway
We traveled to New Braunfels for weekend with a group of 14. The house was clean and had plenty of space to accommodate all guests comfortably. Space was clean and had everything needed for a great stay. Plenty of outdoor space as well. Would definitely rent this property again. The only thing we would change is to update the furnishings and fixtures as they are a bit dated. "

"Great river get-a-way!!
We came her for a bachelorette party and it was great! Very clean and spacious. It was perfect amount of space for a large group of girls. The ac was broken upon arrival but the manager was able to send someone very quickly to get it fixed! My only complaint would be the cockroaches!!! They were everywhere outside once the sun went down and they even were getting inside the house. It was a but gross but nothing that stopped us from having a great time! "

"Family graduatuon celebration
We celebrated my daughter's graduation during our stay amd the house was perfect for our multi generational family. Everyone had their own space yet we all had a common area to spend time together. The kitchen was pretty well stocked for preparing meals. There were plenty of linens for everyone. The expectations were laid out well and easy to understand. We enjoyed our stay and would consider going back again. The only real negative is the yard getting to the water is a hike. Once you get down there you really don't want to have to make too many trips back up. It would be difficult for someone elder or in poor health. "

"Mother's Day Getaway
Me and my sister n laws headed down and had a girls night before the guys and kiddos arrived the next day. We hung out in the kitchen, a couple of decks and the lawn by the water. There are so many options to just have a little sit down at. Multiple decks provides room for everything. The hill leading down to the water is like carpet. Just awesome on bare feet! Climbing up it will take your breath away...literally. But is worth it since the kids had a fun time rolling and running down it. Even the dog loved it! We tied off our tubes to a deck and floated for hours. There's also a rope swing we got unstuck, which made the weekend awesome to the older kids. Everything is very spacious and clean. Which is important since I have a house cleaning business. I give them my stamp of approval. Love the extra refrigerators...3 all together, which were used! The jacuzzi bathtubs were a big hit with EVERYONE. Only a few tvs.. .not in all bedrooms. Problem for some who fall asleep to tv. Thank goodness we were exhausted from fun! Only regret is not staying longer. A few more days would have been perfect. Hard to leave such a beautiful place. Coffee on a deck over a river is THE way to drink coffee!!! ❤️❤️❤️"

"GREAT LARGE GROUP VACATION RENTAL
This is THE property to book when traveling to New Braunfels with a larger group. The home has recently been remodeled with very open and spacious living room conducive to large groups. We thought we'd be cramped with a group of 14 but there was plenty of room with the two additional living rooms with futons all around. The homes location was also a plus, bring your boat and tie up to the dock and venture the Lake/River, theres a boat slip just across from the property with easy public access. Your also just a few miles away from downtown NB, grocery stores/shopping, downtown Gruene and of course the beautiful Comal river if you decide to float. All in all, this is truly a 5 star property with great local amenities. "
