The waterfront of the lake has a nice sandy bottom for swimming and wading. You can beach your boat in front of The Lake House.
The Lake House is located only a short drive from the Upland Game preserve and close to the cities of Dawson and Hubbard, and a short drive from Corsicana and Waco in Central Texas.
There is a marina near The Lake House with a swimming area, nice white sandy beach and children's play area.
An antique mall is located in the town of Hubbard, not far from the lodge.
The Lake House can accommodate large groups up to 19 people as overnight guests and a maximum of 30 people during the day, including the day guests.
