Smith Bungalow Lake House is located on the popular Llano Arm of beautiful Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas. Lake LBJ is one of the largest, prettiest, normally constant-level lakes in the United States.
The lake house is located in the Highland Lakes section of the Texas Hill Country about an hour northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.
The lake house can sleep up to 7 people in beds plus 1 person in the sleeper sofa. A maximum of 8 people can stay at the lake house.
The boat dock is not open, but there is plenty of room for 2 boats to tie up on the side of dock. Bumpers on one side protect your boat. Also, there is 1 covered jet ski lift available for guests to use, and a spacious upper deck that has a fantastic view of the lake.
Ask about using the covered lift with stays of 5 days or more. Stays under 5 days requesting use of Covered Boat Lift, $50 fee will be applied.
The upper deck is a favorite gathering place for the guests to lounge in the sun and watch the activity on the lake. It is a beautiful place to be in the evening, enjoying the stars and the moon, and the reflections of the lights on the water.
The designer of this boat dock did an excellent job. It is one of the best boat docks on the lake.
You can fish and swim from the boat dock. A swimming ladder is attached to the dock.
The home is located on the preferred south side of the Llano Arm of Lake LBJ where the deeper, better water is located.
The deck at the lake house has plenty of seating with a table, chairs and sofa looking out at the lake. A gas barbeque is availabe for outdoor dining.
The large, gently sloping back yard down to the lake is shaded by large live oak trees and can be used for games and picnics. The yard provides easy access to the lake and to the boat dock.
Smith Bungalow was designed with enjoying the lake in mind. It has great views of the lake from the living room, dining room and kitchen.
The word that describes this lake house the best is "cute." It is cute, comfortable and cozy on both the inside and on the outside. You will love this lake house!
It has two bedrooms, one bath, and sleeping for 7 people in a queen sized bed plus 1 person in a sleeper sofa: queen sized bed, 4 bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa.
The very spacious living room has an expansive view of the lake through french doors and large windows. Seating is provided by a large leather sofa, 2 large leather recliners and a day bed. It also has a large screen HD TV with satellite and DVD player, and a wood burning stove.
A Pack and Play (portable crib) and booster chair are available for use by the guests.
The day bed has a nice view of the lake.
The dining area also has a great view of the lake. The large dining table seats 8 people.
The modern kitchen has attractive cabinetry, smooth cooktop stove, microwave, and a refrigerator with ice and water in the door. An ice chest on wheels can be used indoors and outdoors.
The first bedroom has a queen sized bed, dresser, 2 bedside tables, and an HD flatscreen TV. This is a very comfortable bedroom with soothing spring green walls.
The second bedroom has 2 bunk beds with sleeping for 4 people. It has a dresser and an HD TV. This bedroom is a sunny yellow room. The kids and teenagers really love this room.
The spacious bathroom is located in the hallway. It has a shower.
