We were able to have evening fires and relax outside with a sense of privacy. Our younger kids ( ages 2-7 yrs) had a blast in the sandbottom shallow water near the pier swimming and playing with the included water toys like kayaks. Of course, lac la belle is a nice clean lake that was convenient to get to from Milwaukee metro, but it certainly felt further away." Took the kids to DC and out West the last 2 summers and their request for this summer (2012) was to come back to this cottage. The 3 Bedrooms are very roomy and the 3 season room is the great place to enjoy this property, rain or shine! The swimming area and dock are a huge plus to this type of vacation home. Like others have said, the sand bottom is perfect for swimming and the water is crystal clear. There is a large, flat, very well kept, lawn area for games and entertaining. The fire pit near the water is an excellent way to relax at the end of all your fun-filled days. I highly recommend this property for a perfect Wisconsin vacation. You will not be disappointed!"
