The lake is hop,skip from the back deck. We were able to watch some of the neighbors ice fishing. The home is well equipped. Very enjoyable stay."

It's just remote enough that one has the feeling of living alone in the woods, but easy enough to find that it's not a big hassle (nearest neightbor about 1/4 mile away through the woods). And, it's on a pond facing west that sometimes makes for magnificent sunsets. Cabin is very spacious and the fire every night in the fireplace was very cozy--lots of dry firewood provided. No complaints, really, which is quite unusual for us!"
