Sandy bottom swimming in the lake. Large covered dock for boat with ties. Fish off the dock too. Boat launch available at neighborhood boat ramp down just a few houses.
Restaurants (and fast food) so close there's no need to cook. Restaurants include Chili's, Lake Jackson Seafood, Japaleno Tree, Julio's chicken & Fish, Pizza Hut - lots more along 334 in Gun Barrel - Fast food too.
Movie theaters - A new movie theatre in Gun Barrel and Main Place cinema in Seven Points - just down 334 (Main Street) and next to the theater is a Whaz UP Recreation center with Go Carts, batting cages, indoor lazer tag, paint ball, video games and lots more- all minutes down Hwy 334 toward Seven Points. Also a new Movie theater in Gun Barrel City across from the La Quinta Inn.

Weekends - $ 250 per night - 2 night minimum (Friday and Saturday)
Weeknights - $225 per night - 2 night minimum (Sunday to Thursday, except holidays-$250 each night).
Security deposit - $300. (refundable); $75 Cleaning fee; 8.25% hotel tax (City and State Tax)
October to February (15% off the above rates)
Rates are up to 6 adults (additional adults are additional $15 per night. Max number 8 persons.

We had 5 adults and 4 kids......swimming was great out by the dock and the owner is super nice and very accommodating. She had all the little extras....outdoor games, kitchen very well stocked, linens, toliettries were also well stocked. Great patio, great yard, good parking, great boat launch access! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and there was enough room for more. The house is spacious, clean, and very comfy. The beds are soft, even the kids noticed how comfy the beds were. Full kitchen with everything you need. The view was fabulous!!! The lake was low, but that didn't stop us from having the best time we've had on a vacation in I don't know when.
