On Lake Warren off RT 123, East Alstead NH. About 12 miles from VT, 2+ hours from Boston, (Rt. 12), 4 hrs. from NYC, ( Rt. 95 - 91) and 1 hr. due west of Concord NH. We are off the Pine Cliff Rd. side of the lake by Mill Hollow.
The road around the lake is about 3 miles. Although large enough for water skiing, Lake Warren is a boutique location, very quiet during the week, perfect for swimming, fishing or exploring on your sunfish, canoe or kayak.

We want to let you know just how much we enjoyed our stay at the house last week. What a treat it was for us!
The welcome basket and the house book were lovely touches. Even though I’ve spent summers for most of my life at the pond, I never knew its history. It was a fascinating read.
We would also very much like to reserve time as soon as the calendar is opened. We are interested in two weeks. One week just wasn’t enough!

The home is beautiful and is right on the lake. The lake itself is also beautiful. Just big enough for boating but not so big that it is loud or busy. We caught some nice bass and trout both from the dock and out in our boat. Karen and Lindy next door are very nice people and a great resource for any information. If you want to get away and relax this a great rental. "

A lake vacation was something new for all of us- we had all declared ourselves "beach people."
After the amazing week we had, we are "lake people," as well!
The house and backdrop were absolutely perfect for quality family time. We had 3 children with us, and each had as much fun as the next. No one was EVER bored even though we were thoroughly relaxed. This place strikes the perfect balance!
The water activities kept us just busy enough. The rope swing and berry picking were a big hit, too! Just one request- put more fish in the lake :)

Sep 08, 2010 - Collen K "During our stay at the Pine Cliff both our familes felt right at home. We entered a really clean home that had absoluely everything we needed. We were a little short on lifeguard jackets & Karen let us borrow some of hers along with the use of a row boat. The children really enjoyed having access to the bunk house & the tree swing. The island on the lake was a great little getaway that had a perfect landing area for us to enter. Furthermore, we enjoyed the location of the fire pit considering it is right on the side of the lake. We also liked the stairs the go sraight into the lake.. Our only suggestion would be to make a beach area especially because their is so much lake front property. We are definately looking forward to revisting the Pines in the future! We enjoyed the property & privacy."
