Million dollar lake front home (with 5-plus bedrooms) nestled in the woods with all the amenities – new on the market for rental! “The Lake House” in Reynolds Plantation is a wonderful family getaway that is perfectly situated on a private property with a gently sloping lawn 100 feet away from beautiful Lake Oconee, the second largest lake in Georgia. Renters are welcomed to bring a boat and dock in at our private boat dock.
The main floor includes the Master bedroom, full kitchen, sun-drenched dining room, powder room, library, laundry room and a cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The large sunny Master bedroom has a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with 2 sinks, spa tub and stand up shower. There are two upstairs bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a king size bed convertible to twins. There is also a full bath on the upper level.
Downstairs (lake level) offers one full bedroom (king bed convertible to twins), a charming 2-bed bunkroom, a full bathroom, a game room with poker table and a full living room with comfy sofas, TV, and of course, lake views. One of the lake-level bedrooms has been recently redecorated and offers lovely views of the lake. And kids love to sleep in the cozy bunk room!
There’s also a Bonus Room above the garage that has a king size bed convertible to two twins.
The Lake House offers a covered porch off the dining and living rooms to enjoy meals or cocktails while enjoying views of the lake. Another deck has a gas grill and a picnic table. There is a lower-level flagstone patio with a table and chairs that offers lake and dock views.
The Lake House is located a mile from the “Ritz Gate” of Reynolds Plantation and very convenient to The Ritz Carlton Lodge and its award-winning Ritz Carlton Lodge/Reynolds Plantation Spa (which was named one of the Top 5 Spas in the United States by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine). Dine within Reynolds Plantation at The Overlook at Great Waters (views of Lake Oconee), The Plantation Grille (views of the Plantation Course), Linger Longer Bar and Grill (Oconee Club House), and the Ritz Carlton, which features two restaurants: Georgia's Restaurant for fine dining and casual dining at Gaby's on the lake. Nearby in Harmony Crossing are Hugs Italian, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Shane’s Rib Shack, a Mexican restaurant, and Carvel ice cream.
Reynolds Plantation is a 1500 acre vacation development with 80 miles of shoreline on beautiful Lake Oconee. Lake Oconee provides Georgia's most ideal environment for the outdoor enthusiast. Reynolds Plantation amenities include walking and biking trails, driving range, basketball court, bocce ball and clubhouses. Guests are invited to rent pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, canoes and fishing boats from nearby Reynolds' Marina. There is shuttle boat access from the Plantation Marina to Great Waters.
And the Golf! Reynolds Plantation has earned the "Best of the Best" Golf Community recognition from the Robb Report with 2 of the courses being heralded as the Top 100 courses in the United States by Golf Digest Magazine. The courses include the Jack Nicklaus-designed Great Waters course, Bob Cupp-designed Plantation Course, Rees Jones-designed Oconee Course, 27 hole Reynolds National designed by Tom Fazio, and the new private Creek Club course.
Reynolds Plantation is a truly unique place with tons of stuff to do. There are paved walking trails throughout the property. A new movie theater recently opened right outside of the property, offering new releases on big screens. There are many dining options in Reynolds and in nearby Greensboro, and our family has enjoyed not only great pizza and Mexican food, but fine dining as well.
