High Rock Lake is the northernmost of the Uwharrie Lakes and the second largest lake in North Carolina behind Lake Norman. Its water surface covers 15,180 acres and there are 365 miles of shoreline. The lake's name is derived from neighboring "High Rock Mountain", the tallest mountain in the Uwharrie Mountains. The lake serves as a boundary between Davidson and Rowan Counties and is a reservoir for hydroelectric power generation. High Rock Lake has been considered one of the best fishing lakes of North Carolina for a long time. It has been the host of Bassmaster Tournaments, including the Bassmasters Classic in 1994, 1995, 1997 and 2007 and is the site of frequent other angling competitions. The lake has ample channel, blue and flathead catfish plus crappie and several different sunfish such as bluegill, shellcracker and others. Striper and their hybrids as well as white bass also abundant. The lake is best known for its quantity and quality of largemouth bass.

RESERVATION FEE - A non-refundable fee of $15.00 (plus 6.75 NC Sales Tax) is charged for each reservation.
ADVANCE DEPOSIT - An advance deposit of $300.00amount must be received in order to confirm your reservation.
CANCELLATION/TRANSFER - If a confirmed reservation is canceled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 will be charged against the Advance Confirmation Deposit. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival, the entire confirmation deposit will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the canceled period.
SECURITY DEPOSIT – A $300.00 Security Deposit for the faithful performance of the rental agreement is required on all rental properties. The security deposit is due at check-in, and you may provide an imprint of your credit card.
CLEANING FEE- $65.00 All Linens and Towels Provided
