Extensive private waterfront and beach, magnificent views. Property is located on the northern side of the lake which enjoys the prevailing summer breezes. Beautiful park like setting with wooded mature gardens which include a small herb garden very much appreciated by cooks.
THE COTTAGE:
•Open concept living, fieldstone fireplace, cathedral ceiling, 2+ bedrooms, library, tiled bath, hardwood floors, furnished, fully appointed kitchen, the property is heated and is available all year.
Other features include wireless high speed internet, cable and other modern conveniences. NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE
LAKE FEATURES:
•Sandy beach, ramp.
•Great swimming, fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing,sculling.
•Winter sports include skating, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hockey games.
•No big motor boats, or jet skis allowed on the lake.
•Kayaks, rowboat and canoe on property. Sailboat, scull can also be made available.
Weekly rentals $1200, daily rentals $200 per night/two nights minimum. June-July-August weekly rentals preferred. Returning guests get a 10% discount.
Lakefront with ramp and swimming area on the property.
We provide a rowboat, canoe, kayaks.
Private parking -
B-b-q, fire pit, fireplace for those cool nights.

It was absolutely perfect for the vacation we needed. Roomy enough to have our college age children and their friends visit on the weekend, yet it had the charm and warmth that invited relaxation. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Although the cottage is attached to the owner,s property, it truly is private. Raquel was very helpful and pleasant. The lake is just as described in the advertisement-clean and pristine. We fell in love with it and the cottage. This rental is highly recommended. "

Even though it was warm outside, the breeze blowing off of the lake was gorgeous and refreshing. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake, sitting in the lounge chairs and just relaxing. The owner was extremely nice and made our stay perfect. We would definitely recommend this place! "
Sep 06, 2010 - Lisa & Chris "We (2 adults and one child) just returned from an absolutely idyllic stay at this beautiful rustic lakefront cottage. It is super private, and the views of the lake are just gorgeous. If you are looking for a crowded lake that is full of jet skiers and loud parties, this is not for you. If you are looking for a back-to-nature, quiet, place to relax as a couple or family, this is the place! We canoed, had a cookout, roasted marshmallows, and spent time as a family! Our daughter swam, but it was a bit too cold for the adults this early in the season. The kitchen was completely stocked with whatever you would need to make a full meal, and there were extras like coffee, tea, sugar, honey, etc,which we didn't expect, so that was very nice. We opened all the blinds in the master bedroom at night so that we could wake up to the view of the lake in the morning. Even on a holiday weekend, we rarely saw anyone else on the lake, only a few people fishing. We would definitely return!"

The cabin is nestled in a very private beautifully landscaped area. It is equally equipped for entertaining or relaxing. It was immaculate, beautifully appointed and yet quaint. The owner is a very special person who went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. She also took the time to share with us her knowledge of all the plants, trees and herbs on the property. She was very informative about birds in the area. The cabin is tucked away for privacy but convenient to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. So at the risk of revealing a truly hidden treasure, I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature, relaxation, privacy, and tranquillity. We will be back."
