The lakehouse is a year round family home, located at waters edge on the east shore of beautiful Cayuga Lake on a secluded, private road with 100 feet of level lakefront property. We are 6 miles south of Aurora and 20 miles north of Ithaca near Long Point Park. The house contains 1 master bedroom with Queen- size bed and 1 full bathroom with shower/tub. The living room has access to a large open loft suitable for sleeping 3-4 people. The family room contains a queen-size futon. A separate bunk house contains 2 twin beds. The house is comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, electric coffee pot, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, and dishes. The family room and kitchen/dining room have ceiling fans. The tap water comes from the lake well and is suitable for most purposes but is not used for drinking. The house also contains 2 televisions, a VCR, and a DVD player. Linens and towels are not provided. Guest should bring toiletries, personal items, and food. Policies: Guests should expect to leave the cottage as clean as they found it. Honoco Road has a Speed Limit of 10 MPH. Please drive gently. This is a non-smoking home. Please, no pets allowed. There is parking for up to 4 vehicles on the property. The deck (with patio furniture) over the lake provides an incredible view of Cayuga Lake and its wonderful sunsets. There is also a dock with an available boat lift. You can swim in the lake, fish from the dock or watch the sunsets from your lounge chair.  Activities: Swimming, fishing, hiking Wineries Farmers markets MacKenzie-Childs Pottery Factory Aurora Inn Restaurant Wells College, Ithaca College, Cornell University Outlet Shopping Mall (95 stores) Antique shops State parks Montezuma Wildlife Refuge Bass Pro Shop Golf nearby Fishing bait, boat launch, marinas nearby  Rates: Apr-Sep 2009 $900-$1100 per week(six nites) Check in on Sun at 1pm and check out at noon on Saturday. Ithaca and Cornell graduation weekend - contact for availability and rates. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required along with the signed lease agreement. The balance (also non-refundable) is due 3 weeks prior to the reservation start date. Additionally, a $300 security deposit will be due 3 weeks prior to the reservation start date.
