Vistagardens Lakehouse is a newly remodeled, clean, spacious, fully-furnished, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom lakefront house located on picturesque Palmer Lake in Colon, Michigan. It is perfect for large gatherings of family and friends to enjoy the water and outdoor activities in the summer or enjoy the holidays and football games in the fall and winter.
Located in Colon, MI, Vistagardens is less than an hour from South Bend, Indiana and the Notre Dame campus. It's an easy two hour drive from Downtown Chicago/O'Hare Airport and Detroit/East Lansing/Ann Arbor are all under two hours away. All locations offer convenient travel options.
The Lakehouse has five bedrooms and each has its own private bathroom. It's perfect for family gatherings, fishing trips, football weekends, or just getting out of the city to relax. The house itself is spacious enough for large gatherings of family and friends and sleeps 15+. All of this will be enjoyed in the temperature controlled environment offered by central air conditioning and heating!
The property has 70 feet of lake frontage and a boat dock on Palmer Lake which is a 450 acre, all sports lake, perfect for boating, swimming, using the water trampoline, fishing, jetskiing, water skiing, or just lounging on a raft. If you don't feel like going out on the lake, relax on the screened in porch and soak in the Hot Tub! The surrounding area is known for its wineries and vineyards as well as its small specialty shops. There is definitely something for everyone at any time of the year!
Housebroken pets are welcome but a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee is required. Also, smoking is allowed outside in specified locations.
5 Bedrooms & bathrooms (each bedroom has its own private bathroom), central air conditioning/heat, 70' of private lake frontage on 450 acre all sports lake, 9.5 foot water trampoline/raft, row boat, paddle boat, outdoor games to include badminton, bocce ball, croquet, and horseshoes, public sand beach nearby, Hot Tub, large fully furnished kitchen, filtered water system, 4 cable TVs, DVD & VCR, XBOX, washer/dryer, foosball table, pier, large yard with grass lawn, enclosed/screened porch, large outdoor deck with outdoor patio furniture and grill, all required linens, towels and bedding.
Activities:
Summer attractions include swimming, boating, World Class fishing, golf, wineries, antiquing, Magic Convention, shopping for Amish furniture,and day spas. Vistagardens Lakehouse is minutes from the Notre Dame campus and numerous fall sporting events including Notre Dame Football Games! Also experience some of the most breathtaking Fall Foliage tours in the nation as well as terrific hunting. Winter activities include numerous outdoor sports such as skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
Also located nearby are the College Football Hall of Fame, Minor League Baseball (Single A), zoo, and the Studebaker National Museum.
