Includes use of the cottage and boats on a private 1.5 acre island located 800 feet off shore on scenic Fern Lake in the Adirondacks. A driveway is located on the mainland with lake access and boat launching capability. Rowboat and canoe with electric motor are available for transportation to the island and recreation.
Bring your own towels and bedding or sleeping bags. Take food and garbage out with you or to nearby transfer station. No smoking inside cabin. Please leave place clean like you found it.
Weekly rentals are normally Sunday to Saturday (6 nights). Daily rentals are flexible.
Cats unfortunately are not allowed due to allergies, but dogs are welcome.
Sleeps 7 comfortably with 3 double beds, 1 single bed.
2 pullout couches and/or cots available to sleep up to 11. Wood stove, electric oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, running lake water, bottled drinking water required, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, very clean outhouse toilet, indoor toilet for emergency only, tub/shower, bedroom sink, outdoor gas grill, outdoor fire pit.

Kayaking, canoeing, sailing, motorboating, skiing, tubing, fishing, swimming, hiking, relaxing, High Peaks nearby, Whiteface Mountain 20 minutes away, Lake Placid and shopping 30 minutes away, Plattsburgh 30 minutes away, Canada 45 minutes away, Montreal 1 hr 30 minutes away.
Rates:
June & September: $1200 weekly/ $250 per night
July & August: $1400 weekly/ $280 per night
Weekly is considered 6 nights/ 7 days.
50% due upfront to reserve the date.
50% plus additional $500 security deposit due 1 month prior to reservation date, or upfront if within 1 month.
