The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 � baths, large open living room, open kitchen, central heating and air, screened in porch, front porch, BBQ patio, swimming docks, and more! A large grassed yard with a gentle slope to the water is perfect for small children, dogs, and enjoying the view. If lying in the sun isn�t your thing, there is an outdoor horseshoe pit, indoor ping pong, dart board, card table, bumper pool table, and satellite TV w/ DVD. There is something for all here! The cabin sleeps 10 comfortable and is large enough for two families. It is furnished with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 7 twin beds. There is a charcoal grill , full-size refrigerator, electric oven, microwave, toaster oven, all cooking utensils and pots, plates, and glasses. You will just need to bring food and yourself to enjoy a relaxing weekend on Lake Mitchell. And for those who love fishing, Lake Mitchell has some of the best fishing around. Mountain biking, walking, and other outdoor adventures are nearby. Lake Mitchell is located approximately half way between Birmingham and Montgomery in the center of Alabama. It is part of the Coosa River chain between Lake Jordan and Lay Lake. The majority of Lake Mitchell is wildlife protected, and is one of the few lakes on the chain that is not flood controlled. The water level remains stable all year round, with the exception of a relatively small drop of about 4-8 feet every few years for dam maintenance. Some of the interesting key locations on the lake are Lay Dam, Mitchell Dam, Blue Creek Marina, Lake Mitchell Marina, and the public boat launch. Stretching about 14 miles long, and around 140 miles of shoreline, Lake Mitchell is a beautiful reservoir with wonderful people, and an elegant beauty.
