This cabin was built new in 2008. We have huge windows facing the lake. We have a beautiful lake view from every level of house. The main floor has three bedrooms and a full bath. (Two queen beds and a full.) The main floor has laundry, kitchen, Island, dining room table and living area. The upstairs loft has a 3/4 bath, bunk beds, a queen pull out couch, 2 foam floor mats and an excellant overlook. The upstairs also has a sitting area for to look out onto the lake while your having some coffee. The cabin and oversized deck are only a few steps from the water. A Paved road leads right to the front door. We have linens, towels, all kitchen appliances and gas grill.
New Cabin, Gas Grill, huge 14x30 foot deck plus covered deck 11x14. Central Air with Cieling Fans. Microwave, large Fridge, Stove, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. We have several extra lawn chairs for the gathering on the deck. We also have a picnic table for the deck. MP3 docking station with surround stereo there is also a docking station in the garage for the two speakers on the deck. Listen to your favorite tunes while enjoying the firepit or while your swimming.
Activities:
We have a 4000# boat lift with new dock with plenty of water off the end of the dock. We might have a little beach for 2012 and in the water we have a sandy gently sloping bottom. This is great for swimming. If you would like to bring your boat, just let us know and we will pull our boat off so you can put yours on the lift. Golf, Fishing, Hunting, 4 night clubs/restraunts within 1 mile. 4 minutes from a nice 18 hole golf course. 1/4 mile from Smokin Jonnys barbeque and bar. 1 mile from State Park. You can also visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and pagent in DeSmet SD. Tubing, Skiing or swimming in the water is fun or just relaxing on the deck with the sound of the waves. 20 miles from Watertown and Terry Redlin Art Center or 30 miles from DeSmet.
Rates:
Weekends are $330/night and Weekdays are $140/night with 2 night minimum. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night are considered weekend nights. Weekly rate for July and August is $1,400. Weekly rate for May, June and September is $1,100. Email or Call for holiday or weekly rates in the winter or Spring. We discount November thru April. Deposits will be necessary to hold your time slot.

"We spent a week at this home on Lake Poinsett. The home is very nice and the veiw from the windows facing the lake is breathtaking. We really enjoyed the deck and dock. We ejoyed swimming and fishing and boating. We also enjoyed eating at Twisters, Arlington Beach Resort (pizza), and the local restraunts. We grilled and ate at the cabin as well. The fabulous cabin has ALL the amenities of home, plus so much charm & character.
The ladies spent every waking moment on the deck, soaking up the sun while watching the kids swim & jump off the dock. The guys got in some good fishing at area lakes too.
Plenty of room to grill, cook & eat.
Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds, for the three couples. The loft, with it's own bathroom, was perfect for the other couple & their 4 kids.
We will definitely be going back next summer!
